FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: What is the success rate?
A: We see all patients of all ages, for all sorts ailments and discomforts and all see results! Many regaining full motion, 100% reduction in pain and along with measurable correction. Our Neuropathy protocols maintain about 95%+ success rate.
Q: How much does care cost?
A: The care patients receive in our Lake Oswego office is not a one size fits all plan and just as each and every individual is different, so are their needs. Once you consult with the doctor and and necessary evaluations are done, the doctor will determine if you are a candidate for care and make recommendations for treatment. At that point the office staff will verify any insurance along with any options you may qualify for and will provide you with all of the necessary information for you to determine the best plan of action in regards to taking proper care of your health concerns.
Not everyone who comes in for a consultation with the doctor is a candidate for care in our office, we only treat patients who are committed to their care and we are fully confident in their progression and results.
Q: Why hasn’t my primary care doctor told me about this?
A:The options of prescription drugs, injections or surgery is likely the only items your primary care doctor knows about. When it comes to Neuropathy, those options are simply a failed attempt at prolonging the time a patient can “deal” with their pain and numbness. Our office utilizes a more natural approach and unfortunately that means there aren’t big pharmaceutical companies footing the bill to get the word out about these treatment options, regardless of how successful that work. We have to rely on our patients spreading the good news to their MDs and though we see many patients that have been refereed by their MD, that is simply a much slower process then having a fleet of drug reps out pushing products.
Q: Do you take my Insurance?
A: Since insurance companies are primarily set up for what is known as “crisis care” and are all structured differently, there is not a one size fits all answer on the subject. However most have some amount of coverage for Chiropractic services. We will be able to do a complimentary benefit verification for you once the doctor has determined if you are a candidate for care and the type of services needed for your treatment. Fortunately, our Lake Oswego Chiropractic & Neuropathy Treatment Center Accepts Many Insurance Plans. These plans include but are not limited to local, traditional Health Insurance, HSA (Health Saving’s Accounts), FSA (Flexible Spending Accounts), Auto Insurance (due to an injury after an auto accident), Workers Compensation along with options to use or setup Care Credit and Lending Tree plans.
Our patient base is that of all ages and all walks of life. We do our very best to help you find ways get the care you need.
Q: How many times will I need to come in?
A: How long you should be seen by the doctor is completely based on your individual needs. Many times the injuries did not come about over night and can not be fixed with a single adjustment. Some patients simply come in to keep their bodies functioning properly to avoid the need to come in as a pain based patient in the future. One you consult with the doctor and there is a clear understanding of your condition, a proper treatment plan can be constructed to fit your needs.
What will I need to do to get better?
A) That is the question on everyone’s mind and we would love to have a clear answer for you however that is not an easy questions to answer, especially without a proper evaluation. However I can assure you that if you are a candidate for care, the doctor will setup the most effective treatment plan for you and go over it in detail so you are fully aware of exactly what it is going to take to get you feeling and functioning better.
